Product Launch Marketing Lessons

I know you've seen the massive guys to them - we've all had that series of seemingly endless emails in our inbox when it seems that just about everyone is promoting a certain product or event.
Of course, what I mean here is product launches, and I want to give my own advertising and marketing lessons from the 1st product launch I ran.
But why are they so massive? Well, it is not confined to net promoting - believe about the buzz about the latest apple product - product launches really do work. And the reason is certainly simple- they convert. The excitement and the scarcity developed by the time limited nature of it indicates that even more purchases come your way than if you had a simple 'products' tab on your webpage.
And the effect is just multiplied when you get a bunch of affiliate partners behind them.
So when I wanted to get my most recent digital item out there I decided to use the very same model. I've carried out a lot of training and I comprehend what's behind it - the notion of drip-fed videos or content over a few days, building up to a sales page or a large opt-in. But was it truly as straightforward as just putting the content on line and letting it go live?
For me, the large learning was about video. I'm fairly new at video and I've done a couple of screen cast videos prior to but the entire to-camera stuff was new for me. And it wasn't very as easy as I thought - receiving the sound appropriate, not too considerably background noise was a huge challenge!
But the massive lessons for me had been a lot more about the internal stuff and how you need to have to manage the process. Here's my leading four...
